Christmas Day!

Well Christmas was amazing! We told my family the great news that we are expecting and my mom and sister were SHOCKED! I told them in the form of a picture frame with the sonogram picture in it lol, my mom knew right away but I think my sister was still in shock and didn't know what to say. It will definitely be a Christmas to remember. Great food, family, presents, games, and most of all our Christmas miracle.
I pray for a healthy pregnancy and most of all a healthy baby. I can't wait until this time next year when we have a new addition to the family and I get to see my baby's eyes light up in front of the Christmas tree : )

2nd Ultrasound

We had our 2nd U/S done on Dec 17 and it showed one healthy little baby! We were thrilled to get to see the little peanut again!  I am still nauseous 24/7 I had a little relief yesterday at my in -laws Christmas thanks to a little pill called Zofran. I don't want to take it unless absolutely necessary b/c I don't like pills, but I was SO sick I knew Christmas would be miserable if I didn't.
We will be telling my side of the family in just 4 short days, I'm so excited! We are surprising them with a sono picture in a cute hello kitty bag :) This will be a Christmas to remember!

First Ultrasound

Well we had our first Ultrasound on Dec 9th, it was so amazing to see our beautiful baby! I've started a scrapbook/babybook of our journey I'm not very creative so we'll see how it turns out :)

Not much longer till we get to tell my family the big news!

December 3 and already tired

I'm only 5.5 weeks along and I am exhausted! I go down/up a flight of stairs and I can barely catch my breath...this is going to be a long 40 weeks lol! I'm just dieing to tell someone the news that we are expecting but I know it's not a good idea. I don't really feel good even telling everyone at Christmas, I will only be 9 weeks and everyone says to wait at least until week 12...but it's just such a perfect time to tell everyone!

Waiting for the U/S

I am nervous but sooooo ready to hear that beautiful heartbeat! It will be music to my ears, and put these nerves to rest!

Week 5 starts on Monday! The picture above is supposed to represent the tadpole like creature growing in my body lol! I still don't have many symptoms, and I am NOT complaining. I have a lot of cramping, mainly when I sleep. I get up at least 4 times a night to go to the bathroom and other than that I feel great! It was crazy yesterday being with my family and not being able to tell them I am expecting. I want to but we have decided to keep this to ourselves until Christmas...especially since I am considered "high risk" right now. I'm pretty sure they will all be shocked, surprised and happy when they hear the news :)

We're PREGNANT!

Hi Everyone! It's my official first blog post!
On Nov 22, 2010 we found out we were expecting our first little miracle from God. I should say I found out that morning and then I later surprised the hubby with the news. I wanted it to be a surprise and believe me it was...I have it on camera lol! We are so thrilled to be starting this journey. I have to say that without the power of prayer and faith in God we wouldn't be here. We are already ready to meet him/her but we know we have a long 8 months ahead of us, so join us and follow this journey of our pregnancy : )
