3rd trimester here we come!!

Week 28 starts your 3rd trimester in pregnancy and I am ready!! I am thankful for being pregnant and having this wonderful person inside of me growing very strong and healthy...BUT pregnancy sucks! I'm not one to complain I always count my blessing every night BUT here's a list of some of my problems the last 7 months: 2 colds, bronchitis, flu, all day (not morning) sickness for 5 months, killer back pain, infection in both feet from a pedicure, headaches, can't eat hamburger meat, can't eat normal size meals or I get sick they have to be kid size!!! This is just listing a few :(
I just want my squishy cute baby in my arms and be done with pregnancy!
We haven't chosen a name which is now the hot question everyone loves to ask. We have came up with some good contenders but we just want to make sure we love it before announcing it to the world.
The nursery is like 30% finished...the big things are done now it's just decorating and getting stuff after the shower so we don't have 2 of everything.
Speaking of the shower- I'm getting SO excited it's only 6 weeks away! It will be held at the beautiful Botanical Gardens with a butterfly house attached to our room...how pretty : ) I can't wait to see everyone and play some games!

Wow how time flys!

I have been so busy the last couple months I haven't had anytime to write in my blog! I am 24 weeks along now and FINALLY feeling better. I was nauseous up until about 2 weeks ago, when I finally discovered its hamburger meat that's been making me sick! I gave it up along with eating way smaller portions at meal time and I have felt so much better.
We found out we are having a BOY! We couldn't be any happier :) I really didn't care which sex it was on this first one but I love the idea of having a boy first. We are almost done painting the nursery in his colors - light mint green, chocolate brown and white. I can't wait to start decorating the nursery.
We've signed up for many classes and start them at the end of the month. Some women may think they are useless but I don't care, if I just take a couple good ideas away from the class I will think it's a success!

New set of symptoms ugh...

I am now 15.5 weeks along and things are going well....good. I now have what they call round ligament pain, which is the uterus growing and stretching. It is not fun let me tell you. It's a dull ache for most the day with sharp knife pains on and off....this little baby is giving it's mama a rough time! Through all the pain I just think how blessed I am for him/her to be in me growing big and strong : )

We have our gender scan scheduled for the end of February and the time is just creeping by...I want to start decorating the nursery or at least picking out paint colors!

We signed up for prenatal classes that we are so excited to be taking. Some women don't think they need them but I'm not trying to guess or assume on anything. I just have some questions that need some answers so what's the harm.

Starting my 2nd Trimester!

I made it to 12 weeks! WOO HOO! It feels like such an accomplishment, something I've worked so hard for lol! The first trimester was worse than I ever expected, no one I know must have had the terrible symptoms I did b/c I was NOT warned! I may stop at one baby if it means going through that again lol!

I am so excited to be starting the 2nd trimester of this pregnancy. We have told more people, but not everyone. We will be telling our in-laws in a couple weeks since we will be seeing them in person we are just going to wait and tell them. As for facebook, we are going to wait until after my next Dr's appt, what's another 1.5 weeks we've came this far. It still feels surreal since I haven't felt any kicks or flutters yet, but at our last appt we saw the baby just a kickin and punchin up a storm! It was awesome! We won't be finding out the gender until the end of February, which seems like FOREVER! I just want to start buying stuff now!

10 weeks and moving right along

I had my 10 week u/s today and everything looks great! In the picture above my baby is all curled up nice and cozy in it's home for the next 30 weeks. My baby is measuring right on schedule he/she is 1 1/4 inches long and had arms and legs. It kept rubbing it's face in the u/s sooooo adorable. The heartbeat was 175 which we were told is perfect : ) I lost all the bad symptoms of pregnancy this week, so I was a little worried but come to find out everything is just fine. I don't have another u/s for another 3.5 weeks seems like forever away, so until then I will focus on keeping myself and my baby healthy and happy!
