Starting my 2nd Trimester!

I made it to 12 weeks! WOO HOO! It feels like such an accomplishment, something I've worked so hard for lol! The first trimester was worse than I ever expected, no one I know must have had the terrible symptoms I did b/c I was NOT warned! I may stop at one baby if it means going through that again lol!

I am so excited to be starting the 2nd trimester of this pregnancy. We have told more people, but not everyone. We will be telling our in-laws in a couple weeks since we will be seeing them in person we are just going to wait and tell them. As for facebook, we are going to wait until after my next Dr's appt, what's another 1.5 weeks we've came this far. It still feels surreal since I haven't felt any kicks or flutters yet, but at our last appt we saw the baby just a kickin and punchin up a storm! It was awesome! We won't be finding out the gender until the end of February, which seems like FOREVER! I just want to start buying stuff now!

10 weeks and moving right along

I had my 10 week u/s today and everything looks great! In the picture above my baby is all curled up nice and cozy in it's home for the next 30 weeks. My baby is measuring right on schedule he/she is 1 1/4 inches long and had arms and legs. It kept rubbing it's face in the u/s sooooo adorable. The heartbeat was 175 which we were told is perfect : ) I lost all the bad symptoms of pregnancy this week, so I was a little worried but come to find out everything is just fine. I don't have another u/s for another 3.5 weeks seems like forever away, so until then I will focus on keeping myself and my baby healthy and happy!

Christmas Day!

Well Christmas was amazing! We told my family the great news that we are expecting and my mom and sister were SHOCKED! I told them in the form of a picture frame with the sonogram picture in it lol, my mom knew right away but I think my sister was still in shock and didn't know what to say. It will definitely be a Christmas to remember. Great food, family, presents, games, and most of all our Christmas miracle.
I pray for a healthy pregnancy and most of all a healthy baby. I can't wait until this time next year when we have a new addition to the family and I get to see my baby's eyes light up in front of the Christmas tree : )

2nd Ultrasound

We had our 2nd U/S done on Dec 17 and it showed one healthy little baby! We were thrilled to get to see the little peanut again!  I am still nauseous 24/7 I had a little relief yesterday at my in -laws Christmas thanks to a little pill called Zofran. I don't want to take it unless absolutely necessary b/c I don't like pills, but I was SO sick I knew Christmas would be miserable if I didn't.
We will be telling my side of the family in just 4 short days, I'm so excited! We are surprising them with a sono picture in a cute hello kitty bag :) This will be a Christmas to remember!

First Ultrasound

Well we had our first Ultrasound on Dec 9th, it was so amazing to see our beautiful baby! I've started a scrapbook/babybook of our journey I'm not very creative so we'll see how it turns out :)

Not much longer till we get to tell my family the big news!

December 3 and already tired

I'm only 5.5 weeks along and I am exhausted! I go down/up a flight of stairs and I can barely catch my breath...this is going to be a long 40 weeks lol! I'm just dieing to tell someone the news that we are expecting but I know it's not a good idea. I don't really feel good even telling everyone at Christmas, I will only be 9 weeks and everyone says to wait at least until week 12...but it's just such a perfect time to tell everyone!

Waiting for the U/S

I am nervous but sooooo ready to hear that beautiful heartbeat! It will be music to my ears, and put these nerves to rest!
